Amazing Skagen

The "double nature" of Skagen is something very special.

On the one hand, Skagen has a physical appear-ance with a unique nature, picturesque, local sights, museums and art of the highest quality.

On the other hand, Skagen is endowed with a reputation of an almost mythical character, whose mental imprint draws its impressions from

- and not least from the Skagbos, the people of Skagen

The project "Skagen on my Mind" will over the coming years present personal perceptions and interpretations of this "Denmark's northernmost area".

We set out with a series of tree portraits from Skagen's plantations.
