It’s no wonder grandparents are full of good stories.
They’ve lived a long time — and experienced all sorts of things.
But how do you get those stories told,
so others can enjoy them too?
One Monday morning, during the first lesson with their teacher Bodil, class 3.b had a great idea:
“Let’s have a Grandparents’ Storytelling Theme Week!”
And what a week it became.
One the children would remember for a long time.
Once again, the kids were reminded that behind every smiling wrinkle and every strand of gray hair, there lives a whole world of adventure and excitement.
The grandparents told their stories in such a way that the children felt like they were right there — inside the stories themselves.
You could almost say the children discovered something important:
That old people are simply children who have lived a long time.
